We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 150th anniversary of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia by attendingto the  International Conference on Groundwater -ICGW2017 that will be held from August 28th to August 31st 2017 in Bogotá DC, Colombia. The event is being organized with the aid of the Asociación de Ingenieros Civiles de la Universidad Nacional (AICUN) and with the support of the Research Team GIREH, the Bogota's Young Professional Network of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR-YPN Bogotá) and the sponsorship from the International Society of Porous Media (INTERPORE) and the Colombian Association of Hidrogeologists (ACH).

The purpouse of this conference is to communicate the newest scientific and technological global advances in exploitation engineering, mining, geology and hydrogeology. In additon, attendees will participate in a discussion forum exposing the current issues in groundwatwer management and the current research on this topic aiming to solve supply and quality problems, in order to  propose advanced, efficient and more rational practices that point towards the improvement of life quality standards with sustainable systems that protect the environment.
